Author’s Instructions
Paper Revisions
If you have received a paper acceptance email from the IWBIS 2022 Committee, please revise your paper according to reviewers’ comments.
Formatting checks are enforced in the submission phase for final manuscripts. The paper must follow the publication guidelines provided by IEEE on IEEE Manuscript Templates for Conference Proceedings. Please allow extra time to fix any formatting errors and use PDF-eXpress to generate a compliant file. Please pay attention to the guidelines for each component of the paper in the template. Several components of the paper where mistakes are common include:
- Titles (and subtitles)
- Authors List and Affiliations
- Tables/Figures Placement/Captions
- Gaps/blank spaces in and between the paragraphs
- Picture resolution (min. 300 dpi)
- References
- Equations (should not be in images, but in real equation format).
The authors will be required to revise and resubmit your paper to us until it meets the requirement of the IEEE format.
IEEE PDF eXpress
- Go to IEEE PDF eXpress Website (https://ieee-pdf-express.org/)
- Create an IEEE PDF eXpress account (use conference ID: 56557X)
- Use ‘new user’ if you haven’t used this site before.
Use IEEE PDF eXpress to check if your PDF file is Xplore-compliant, OR, else, you can use this site to convert your source files into an IEEE Xplore-compliant PDF file (e.g., for LaTeX users, create a zip file that includes dvi and your eps figure files altogether, and then upload the zip file for the system to convert into a compliant PDF file; for MS Word users, upload the Word file and let it convert and return a compliant PDF file). Do NOT use ‘Approve for collection’ in PDF eXpress Plus, if requested.
Camera-Ready Paper Upload/Submission
Send your camera-ready paper via email to iwbis@cs.ui.ac.id by August 15, 2022 (Round 1)/ September 4, 2022 (Round 2) with the following subject in your email:
[IWBIS 2022] Camera Ready Paper [Your Paper ID]: [Your Paper Title]
In your email, please attach:
- Camera-ready copy of your paper that must be PDF eXpress compliant,
- A copy of the compliance message from PDF eXpress.
We will run the plagiarism checker (iThenticate) on your camera-ready paper. The accepted similarity level is a maximum of 20% with no component being similar to your paper more than 3%.

Author & Participant (Non-Presenter) Registration
Due to IEEE technical co-sponsorship of IWBIS 2022, your final paper is planned to be included in IEEE Xplore for archival value after the conference. However, IEEE reserves the right to exclude an acceptance paper from inclusion in IEEE Xplore if it is not presented at the conference. Read IWBIS Policies at this link.
Make sure one of the author(s) of the paper registers for the conference by September 5, 2022, at the latest. Please fill in the following form: IWBIS_Registration_Form. (Form submission needs to log in from Google account.). For Participant (Non-Presenter) you can use the form also to register for this conference.
Since the conference will be held virtually, we will schedule a date for a virtual presentation trial. At least one of the authors must already be registered by the trial date. Further instructions on virtual presentation will be sent in a separate email.

Complete IEEE Electronic Copyright Form (ECF) for IEEEXplore publication. The instructions will be informed on this page and via email to the authors.
