Regarding the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic situation and for the safety of all IWBIS 2022 participants, we as the IWBIS 2022 committee have carefully considered and determined that IWBIS 2022 will be held virtually. Therefore, all presenters were asked to submit a pre-recorded video presentation. All presenters must submit a pre-recorded video of their presentation no later than September 23, 2022.

Video Submission Guideline

  1. File format: mp4 file - Choose one of the following methods to record the video:
    • - Use Powerpoint recording to record both slide and your face (refer to the “Pre-recorded Video Guideline”)
    • - If you prefer to use another recording program you are familiar with, you can use it.
  2. File size: 300MB Max
  3. Video resolution: 1280*720 or higher is preferred.
  4. Please check the image/sound quality of your video before submission to be accepted for presentation.
  5. Submit your video here

General Instruction for Presenter

  1. The committee chose Zoom Meeting (for paper presentation) and Zoom Webinar (for Plenary and Keynote session) as the primary platforms for managing the IWBIS 2022 Fully Virtual Conference.
  2. If you already have a Zoom account/after creating the Zoom account, please edit your Zoom display name in the following format:

    Paper ID LastName (Institution, Country) e.g. 2801 John Doe (UI, Indonesia).

  3. Please download the virtual background here.
  4. You should enter the virtual room using the given Room Link, Room Number, and Password (Provided to you via email). You are requested not to share meeting details with anyone else. To find out when your presentation session is, please check the advanced program of IWBIS 2022.
    • - Upon entering the room, the registered author must report to the room host in the Zoom chat-box confirming his/her presence with paper ID, name, affiliation, and email address.
    • - Please keep your microphone muted and turn off the video when you are not presenting.
    • - Each session will be started and ended by a photo session, so please turn on your video during this session (LO/ Session Moderator will guide you).
    • - The session chair will introduce the authors and the presenter. The host will then play the pre-recorded presentation video as per the conference schedule. At the end of the presentation, the session will be open for Question and Answer (QnA).
    • - The registered author of the paper must be present in his/her registered paper session. Otherwise, the paper (pre-recorded video) will not be presented in the session and be considered as NO SHOW. Please see the IEEE Policy on handling Non-presented Papers.
    • - Please check the Chat-box on a regular basis where participants or other authors may post questions for you. You are most welcome to provide answers to those questions in the Chat-box. If you have any questions for other presenters in a session, please use the Chat-box and ask questions. In the Chat-box if you ask any question or reply to any question, please write your name, email name, and paper ID.
    • - The presenter is expected to answer the queries of the participants and session chair/co-chair directly.
    • - If you cannot get enough time to answer all the questions during your session, the host will help you to send the questions to the Chat-box you are expected to provide answers immediately to those questions during the next other presenters.
    • - Please check with the Session Host with your audio/video quality prior to the session. If you want to play something or share something, please inform prior to the session and make sure the material is running properly.
    • - TEST / DRY RUNAuthors/Presenters are requested to have practice sessions scheduled on September 28, 2022.
